Gina, a member of The Lily Pad community and fellow blogger showed me a great blog post today that gave instructions to a cheap and creative way to decorate your walls.

What you have to do is get a few blank canvas'. Paint them whatever color you would like. Next you take a plastic or rubber doormat that has holes and is the same basic size as your canvas like this one:

Line it up on your canvas and spray paint a contrasting color. If you painted your canvas black, spray paint over the mat white.

Lift your mat and viola...a beautiful wall hanging!

1. What celebrity in a fantasy would you like to be alone with?

Hum...I have a few celebrity crushes. I love love love Emmet from Twilight, not Kellen Lutz...but Emmett! I also love Charlie Hunnam who plays Jackson Teller on Sons of Anarchy. Either one of those cuties would do for me.

2. Have ever dated a good friend?

Yes! Let me tell ya..that was slightly weird. After about a week of dating we both figu

red out that we were better best friends than boyfriend and girlfriend.

3. What is the most embarrassing song that you like?

I wouldn't really call them embarrassing but I'm sure not everyone would admit to loving them! You can make me dance by putting any old Britney Spears, N SYNC, BSB, 98*, etc song on.

4. What is your favorite tear jerker movie?

I am a big softie for girlie movies. The one I watched the other day that makes me cry every time is "Marley and Me".

5. What about yourself makes you least secure?

My parenting ability. I may not be the best parent in the word but I try my hardest.

6. Do you believe in destiny?

Yes! I believe that we all have a path we are meant to take. It may take us awhile to find that path but in the end it doesn't matter how we got there, only that we arrived.

7. What 'issue' do you think your opinion is so right about that you end up trying to sway others to your point of view?

I am very open minded. Something that is right and perfect for my family may not be, and usually isn't right and perfect for someone else and their family. I usually don't try to sway anyone my way, I listen to their beliefs and politely disagree.

8. What are 5 things you don't care about?
1 - You'll find that I don't really care much about or know much about politics.

2 - I could care less about sports. Really..I don't care.

3 - Video games. As obsessed as Jon is, I really don't care! lol

4 - Religion. You'll never find me in a religious debate. Just like politics, I don't know much about any religion, nor do I care.

5 - The appearance of my bedroom. LOL No, I don't let it get nasty and gross but who cares if there are clothes on the floor. Jon and I are the only ones that go back there anyways.

9. Have you ever been in a situation where you weren't sure if you were seducing or being seduced?

I can't really think of one.
